Hip Strength

Sunday, February 7 10am – 12:30 pm

Personally, I’ve found talk of the hips, insofar as they pertain to postures, rather confusing. For instance, what does it mean to ‘open’ the hips, draw the hips in, compact the hips… I’ve got to assume I’m not the only confused one. But the fact is that learning to work firmly from the hip joint can be incredibly helpful in a ton of poses. I’d characterizing it as one of those things where working harder where we tend to underwork frees up other parts to work less.
